MaltGarden – Straight from the Farm

MaltGarden is a Polish brewery headed by Andzej Miler that has fast become a new favourite on the beer scene.

Andzej was already one of the most recognized home brewers of the country so it came as no surprise when he started gypsy brewing along with Łukasz Rokicki. Together they took the Polish craft beer scene by storm with their original and juicy IPAs.

The name comes from the idea of creating a wide variety of intense and colourful beers through a rich variety of malts. With intense hoppy beers that put them on the map of the craft beer scene, dark rich brews as well as many sour experimentations, we are delighted that they chose to work with us and Clayton Hops for this latest New Zealand IPA.

Triparate Collaboration

Wanting to showcase the wonderful aromas of these New World Hops, we worked on this “tripartite” collaboration with Bryan Clayton just before the 2021 harvest. Having set their mind on Rakau and Nelson, Lukasz came up with a recipe for a DDH Hazy Double IPA that would be smooth, intense, and fingerlinkingly good.

“Never so fresh”

As soon as they were harvested, the hops were immediately sent to Poland to be brewed as fresh as possible.

“Straight From the Farm” is an intense fruity citrus hop bomb brewed with “never so fresh” Nelson Sauvin and Rakau hops.  The additional flaked oats and wheat give it a creamy and full body and the London Fog yeast emphasizes the wonderful fruity flavors of the hops. The result is a very drinkable 8.2% abv IPA.

Showcased early September at the Puhaste Beer Festival in Estonia, Striaght From the Farm is now available in cans and kegs across Europe.
