Named for its Haitian Loa (or spirit) of agriculture and launched in 2013, Azacca is also sometimes featured as a single hop in beers to highlight its unique flavors and aromas. It is mostly used as a dual purpose hop that is has a very wide range of citrus fruit flavours and aromas including orange, papaya, mango, grapefruit and pineapple. It also has more subtle notes of pine and spice.
