Previously called HBC 692, the newly named Talus™ is an aroma hop for whirlpool and dry hopping additions as well and it delivers a high intensity of hop aroma well suited for IPAs and hop-forward beers.

Talus™ hops exhibit grapefruit, floral, stone fruit, potpourri, woody, cream, pine, and resinous notes that are great for lots of beer styles: Wheat Ale, Golden Ale, American Lager, Pale Ales, India Pale Lager, India Pale Ale, Session IPA, New England IPA, and Imperial IPA.

Daughter of SABRO® HBC 438 c.v. and open pollination TALUS™ creates great synergies with many different hop brands and varieties.

Brewers love the unique flavour and aroma of talus hops. They have a spicy, earthy flavour that is perfect for IPAs and other hoppy beers. They are also known for their strong citrusy aroma, which makes them a popular choice for pale ales and other light beers.

HBC 472 is an experimental hop variety from the Hop Breeding Company. It is the result of the open pollination of a neomexicanus mother and is said to have a woodsy, bourbon barrel aroma with coconut, vanilla, citrus, and sweet fruit notes. This hop variety is still in development, so it is not yet available for commercial use.

However, it has already generated a lot of interest among brewers due to its unique and intriguing flavour profile. HBC 472 could potentially be used in IPAs, pale ales, and other styles that showcase hop flavour and aroma.

Sabro hops are a relatively new variety of hops that have been gaining popularity in recent years. They are a hybrid of two different hop varieties, and they have a unique flavour that is fruity and spicy. They are often used in IPAs, and they can add a lot of flavour and complexity to the beer.

Brewers love Sabro hops because they have a very distinctive flavour that can’t be replicated by other hop varieties. Sabro is also known for their high levels of bitterness, which makes them perfect for IPAs. Sabro hops are still relatively rare, so they can be difficult to find, but they are definitely worth seeking out if you’re looking for something different in your beer.
